Hi
I am new to tracktion, and have problems with recording my VST control changes. When I press record, it tells me to have an active input device. What is that, if not the synht or effect I am trying to use?
HELP, with an otherwise promising sequencer

Yeah, just to elaborate; you only need to press record when recording audio or MIDI inputs. You can enable these in the settings page, after which they appear on the left of the arrange page, ready to be dragged to a track.
VST automation is recorded (the term "written" is more conventional) all the time that the red automation button next to the main transport is pressed..

Thanx!!!
I then realised that part of my problem, was that my Blue FX doesn't work in traction, and my much beloved RMD delay crashes the whole thing...
I guess that belongs to VST unpredictibality, but it is still maddening.
But some things does work
