It just has a really good sound quality. The reverb though should be removed from existence, it is awful.

Just unselect it and use something like Raum.

Every now and again I get a weird urge to sell all my synths and return to Sylenth1. Back to simpler times.

It was a leap in sound quality. The UI if I remember was right around the time the 'fake wood' look was leaking into audio UIs. Almost every Moog emu had it. I remember being so excited when it came to Synthedit.

Lennard, I know from experience, is a very nice guy. I have sometimes contacted him by email with questions about the sylenth or if something went wrong with the license. Always willing to help. I am still very happy with the Sylenth and with Lennard who still supports it. Which major VST developer does that for so long? That is why I dared to build a concept midi controller for this synth. Now first look for a good skin whose images I can use for a front panel, unfortunately the Sylenth files cannot be used, then we will continue building.

They weren't bad to him because of that. They were just nasty. You know how people are. It was even worse because he made some of the elements with Synthedit, so a bunch of people wrote it off as a piece of junk. This was about, what ? 3 years before you joined.

I get pissed when I see developers getting over the top , hostile comments and pile ons. It’s a sport for losers. A legit complaint is fair game but you know the others who drone on and goad people into reactionary territory. They thrive.

This looks amazing! I've dreamed of undertaking a similar project for Serum before.
