oh i know...but u had resellers dump v2 for 25$...new users get v3 for 89$...but loyal users who have spent big money on v1 and v2 have to spend 50$ for nothing but a UI update and a new filter?...wild
nothing was wrong with the old UI...it had drag and drop modulation, with visual feedback, and a fully customizable macro performance page from jump over a decade ago before most competitors...it's a new color scheme and controls rendering...the gui is functionally the same

I mean this shouldn't have to be said, but one hopes for a meaningful upgrade to a plugin. Disappointment that it's not (to them) isn't surprising.

I haven't looked into the upgrade enough to make that call, if you have let us know.

not the point...they have done this many times before...they chase every trend late in desperation and are completely tone deaf in messaging to old loyal user base...ignoring feature requests for years from users, and offer this?...which is actually a 99$ upgrade just on a temp christmas sale...if you want a donation to just keep Aktion engine development up then just say that...and offer a lower upgrade price or free expansions for original users who have upgraded since V1...99$ upgrade for a skin and a filter to loyal users?...smart business

I think you just told the story of nearly every corporate software manufacturer for at least the past five years (both inside and outside of pro audio). This is the new normal. It sucks, but it is in fact only going to get worse. Better adjust your expectations now. These are still first-world problems.

it does sound funny the way you spin it...nice try...the point was always self evident and remains,...ignoring what current actual users have wanted for years, while providing what you think future imaginary users want, as a largely superficial 99$ upgrade value proposition; utilizing poor CRM and marketing in a highly competitive vertical,...is irrational and unfruitful...nevertheless I'm glad I could bring some levity to ur day
