Sonik Synth 2 Free can't load sounds

I am trying to use Sonik Synth 2 Free in SONAR 4. When I load the plugin I see SS2 receiving MIDI but when I try to load a combination I get a "Can't Find Instrument" message. I understand that I should be moving some folders somewhere, but I don't know what. I have the actual DLL in a vst\instruments\synth folder. Of course SS2 installs itself under my Program Files folders. I have tried moving the SSInstruments folder every which way but still get this message. Does anyone know of what should be where? Again I see MIDIkeys on the SS2 keyboard but no sound.

I can't remember exactly but i know i had to resort to reading the instructions then it worked first time.

What combis? I don't think we gave any combis away yet with the official Sonik Synth 2 FREE. The Keyboard magazine version had combis. Is that what you are talking about? Anyway, if order for any combis to work they have to have the associated parent/child presets in the SS2Instruments folder to work.

I just thought wwwill meant he could not get ss2 free to work.

Hi, the presets are a separate download. The sounds do not automatically get installed when you install the Sonik Synth 2 interface. You can find the sounds here: http://www.soniksynth.com/Main.html?SSInfo

Then click on "download" at the top of the page. Scroll towards the bottom and download the sounds..

Once you download the sounds, there a read me file that tells you where to put them
