The presets are pretty good, but as usual, Nori’s are great.

Model 77 is only 75E at the moment (cheaper if you own some other stuff, my price is 63E) and I still havent bought it as I have the Arturia and its close enough for me. Another CS-80 may be a tough sell...zerocrossing wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 2:25 pm If they don’t include some pretty compelling features that other synths have, it’s going to be pretty difficult for them to get me to buy this. I already think Model 77 is excellent for accuracy, and CS-80 V is pretty good and what it lacks in accuracy it makes up for in additional functionality.

I'm a simple guy these days, if an instrument of effect cannot run through patches with the arrow keys or a similar single key shortcut, I'm passing. I own Poly KB, XILs 4 and Syn'X but I refuse to spend more money on companies that want me to mouse at a snails pace to get a sound going.

I like the CS-80 V too, but another factor for me is that I’m a Softube Modular user and it’s worth it to get the Model 77 modules.SLiC wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 7:51 pmModel 77 is only 75E at the moment (cheaper if you own some other stuff, my price is 63E) and I still havent bought it as I have the Arturia and its close enough for me. Poly kb 3 , I’m pretty sure their entire synth line up does as well, supports midi program changes, so if you have a midi keyboard you should be able to step through them fairly quickly on your midi controller/ synth.machinesworking wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 8:17 pm I'm a simple guy these days, if an instrument of effect cannot run through patches with the arrow keys or a similar single key shortcut, I'm passing. I have the presets setup both with midi program changes as well as NKS, on my s88 MK3.

XILS delivers spot on emulations. Look at their underrated Polymoog and accurate VP-330 which you couldn't pick from hardware.
