If I have both Repro VST2 & VST3 installed and Reaper is set to display only VST2 with priority when both VST2 and VST3 are present, the VST2 version of Repro-5 will not be displayed and Repro-1 exists in duplicate. Am I the only one who sees only Repro-5 as VST3? I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that VST2 is not one file like VST3, but is divided into two files, Repro-1 and Repro-5. Solved:
It was because I had changed the file name of the VST2.

Experimental:
"Repro1.dll, Repro5.dll" (wished)
The file name when I wrote the topic. Repro-5 can be confused with Repro-1.

"Repro-1(x64).dll, Repro-5(x64).dll" (default)
Default file name as is. Of course this will separate Repro-1 and 5 without any problem.

"Repro-1.dll, Repro-5.dll" (compromise)
Filename as a compromise. Now Repro-1 and 5 VST2 were recognized without any problems.

Why change the file name:
In most DAWs, the file name is loaded as the track name, so if there is no problem with renaming it, I change it to my liking and use it. (No, to be honest, it's just my aesthetic sense that gets in the way...) No other plugin I own has a gimmick (trick) like Repro. Repro 1.1.3 is the final version compatible with VST2, so I will use it carefully forever apart from VST3. (I will continue to use VST2, as I occasionally use Podium, etc., which does not support VST3.)

Thanks, you may want to amend the thread title to specify it is solved now :)

I thought I added [Solved] to the subject when replying to my own post, but it didn't show up anywhere, which was puzzling. I can't find a relevant FAQ. The subject of a reply has no effect, and changing the subject of the most first thread post will change this thread title? Trying...

I see the thread title changed now πŸ™‚
