What a waste of a big opportunity. It didn't need to be another synth. A version 2.0 (or a "Sylenth2") would've broke the internet from the very first moment of an announcement.

From the plugin you can do check for updates and it will take you to a site to determine just that.

If it sounds good, it sounds good. I actually would not change that. But would like to see som quality of life improvements to workflow:

- integrated preset browser like Serum, Vital or Zebra.

- open up a few more parameters to the modulation matrix.

That’s all basically.

Ever since OsTIrus was released, I don't see a point in using Sylenth anymore. I always used Sylenth as a native Virus sounding alternative, but now that the Virus is native it's superior in every way.

Who knows - maybe the guy is working on Sylenth 2 as we speak and he takes his time, no rush. Until then, we have a plenty of magical synths out there - Dune 3, Spire, Viper, Hive 2, Serum 2, Zebra 3, Pigments 7, etc...

Why did Lennar Digital never release another Synth?
