Pan automation render issue

I’m having an issue rendering a PAN automation on a track. This is the first time I’ve tried automations since updating to 13 so idk if it’s a bug.
I have a track that’s panned right and I added an automation track to pan some sections left but when I export it only renders the automated parts (panned left). I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. It works fine on playback in the DAW.

I tested with rendering and exporting a track with automated panning (in Waveform 13.2) and it works. Might need more details

One thing to try: center the pan on that track.

THEN, automate it to go right as well as left (where you want it right and where you want it left, that is).

By setting the pan to hard right, it might be confusing the automation.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

I thought this might work but nope. I also tried creating a new project with just the one track and redoing the automation and it still only gives me the automated audio.

I don't really have any extra details. I have my recorded audio track then I pressed the + below the A to add an empty automation track, selected pan, added my points and moved them where I wanted them. Turned on automation read mode so I can hear it on playback and it sounds normal. It just won't render it correctly on the export.

So, I tried rendering audio with automation to a new track and that gives me a nicely rendered audio track with the panning that I can see the waves of with my eyeballs and hear all the panning with my ears but when it's exported in the final project it still only exports the left panned parts even though it's a fully new track with no extra automation or anything added to it.
WHAT IS GOING ON????

It's almost certainly something happening where you're not looking and if you want others to be able to help you, we'll need all the details we can get. You can easily look at things in front of you but we have to rely on what you tell us.

Maybe it's OS-related, but we don't know your OS. Maybe it's version-related, but we don't know your version. Maybe it's interface-related, but we don't know your interface. Maybe it's related to audio settings, but we don't know your audio settings. Maybe it's plugin-related, but we don't know which plugins are being used. Maybe it's to do with render settings, but we don't know your render settings. Maybe the problem isn't happening for you in other instances or maybe it's happening any time that you have ever tried to render, but we don't know.

And there are any number of other details that could be relevant.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Mac OS
Traction Waveform 13.2 (64-bit) free version

There are no plugins on the track

I didn’t change the default render settings except to check “only selected track/region”

I did find out it’s not automation specific. It’s panning in general that’s not working on exported files.

I exported a track hard panned left and then right. Both gave me total silence.

I’m probably just going to rebuild the project in Waveform 12 since panning worked there last time I used it :/

Are there any plugins at all? Some plugins work differently during render than they do during playback. Some glitch. That would be my first guess.

From your initial description, things only made sound when hard-panned left. Now neither left nor right makes sound. What about center-panned? What about if you delete all the volume/pan plugins?

No plugins. I even tried a blank new project.

Yeah, initially it was the automation only exporting one side but then I realized that that was the only track with panning so I tested panning in general and found it doesn’t export any panning (except for that one side with the automation). Centering does produce audio tracks like normal.
