One thing I forgot to mention above is that I don't see a way to order patches alphabetically in my custom bank. They're ordered by date created which makes pre-tagging them pointless....

I thought I fixed the sorting issue + search issue in the latest update.

I would also love to know how to have a clean install of just Synthmaster 3 with all preset banks that I own.

1. Download and install SynthMaster 3 from https://www.synthmaster.com/userarea.aspx
2. Upon first run, SynthMaster 3 asks you to downloading missing expansions. Say yes to that, or later when you run SynthMaster 3, click on the preset name on the top header, then click on the "Restore my preset banks" menu.

You're done

Yes I've tried both. I don't see any difference in SM3's performance with either one or the other but it may take more prolonged testing.

I only own SM2 + SM3.. Thought that I don't need SM1 for just importing an expansion to SM3?

Ok, it worked... BUT...

I found the installation of the sound banks very dangerous...

I did in Reaper and the download progress in the info field on top were suddenly stopping at 85.2% at one soundbank giving me just the blue windows circle of death with nothing working anymore...

Clicking anywhere greyed Reaper out for at least a minute or 2... and I was nearly on the way to shut it down with the taskmanager...

Suddenly there was a message box popping up that all sound banks were installed correctly...
So it seems that it was silently installing the downloaded soundbanks (27 of them) in the background blocking the whole system...

Perhaps it would be a good idea to notify the user that it is installing and nothing can react anymore until the process is finished...
To me it looked just like Synthmaster 3 has crashed the whole system...

Good point I will make sure that the user is aware that there is a long running task

I thought I fixed the sorting issue + search issue in the latest update.

The sorting issue was fixed in 3.1.0, my custom presets are now in alphabetical order and new ones do get sorted properly.

However unless I'm doing something wrong the search issue still exists:

Congrats. I also think a lot of reviewers didn't even scratch the surface... For example nowhere are the shaping capabilites mentioned and tested in depth. I wish every synth had such a shaper module.

Unfortunately, there's not much interest amount reviewer / youtubers / influencers to review SynthMaster 3. They don't even reply to our emails. That's really disappointing.
