I appreciate any help.

Thanks.
Have you tried locating the Waveshell1-VST3 15.0 (in the normal VST3 folder) file and dragging it manually onto the plugin list in settings-plugins?
I didn't know that was an option. I tried dragging both VST3-15 shell files as instructed. It didn't seem to make a difference.

Thank you, everyone, for your help. I may have to contact Tracktion support.
I've just noticed this. Surprised the obvious hasn't been mentioned. Sometimes Waveform doesn't know where plug-ins have been installed to, so before you do a scan you have to navigate to the folder it doesn't know about so it knows to look there in future. I gather it's something like this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V15

This is where I got it from:
https://www.waves.com/support/locate-th ... ins-folder

Hope that helps.

Hey all,
shiru8bit's ChipWave plugin seems to crash the entire DAW on Waveform 13 when the close plugin GUI (X) button is pressed, logs seems to have printed no info at all.
Got it from here: https://shiru.untergrund.net/software.shtml

The TDR Prism Plug-In (an excellent free frequency analyzer) slows down, sometimes completely freezing the WaveForm GUI, and seem to not accept user mouse interactions.

I tested both versions (VST2/VST3), experimented with WaveForm DPI awareness and Prism's GUI scale settings (100-125-150%), with no success.

Let me know if anyone has successfully run TDR Prism in WF13.

WF 13.2.0, Prism 1.0.7 VST2/VST3 64bit, Windows 10

PS: I tested Prism in another DAW and everything works as designed there.

Blue Cat Audio Remote Control crashes the DAW.
Works fine in Studio One.

Since the recent IK update, the tonex vst2 plugin crashes waveform (at least on my machine). Since i installed waveform 13.5.13 before, i don't really know, what's causing the issue.
Vst3 plugin works fine (on Windows 11)

I'm having issues with Tone 2's Icarus at the moment. Check this video to see it action:

Icarus 3 WF Pro Bug

EDIT: I found the problem. Waveform was sending out constant MIDI Program Change messages. Since Icarus is the only plugin I tried that responds to program changes it was the only one affected.

Report this to Tracktion!
The experience is that they are not monitoring what's going on in this forum, unless they would show up with a specific question by themselves.

...aaaaaaaand that's why I didn't just report it.

Fails on Debian 13 (and, pause to check, AVL_MXE-23.2-20240405_x64).

What are you running it on?

Drat — that's the VST2.

Just add the plugin paths to Waveform's Vst2 or VST3 path search, also you can copy plugins and their dependencies to your default Vst2 folder, search again in Waveform and Walah!
