I've used it, that's why I wanted to buy it. Love the workflow of it because I'm not thinking of using it as a traditional record to audio track. My idea is to record samples in between chains of plugins and to use it for analysis (the way it renders waveforms is the best I've seen, also mid/side).harddaysnight wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 3:39 am Have you actually used Edison, or are you thinking it's a good match for your workflow due to videos you've seen and things you've read?
Because in practice, it is way less intuitive and appealing to use than it is in theory and can be left in the past now that you can record straight to tracks in FL now.
No idea why anyone would want Edison as a VST to use in some other DAW.
Sounds like something someone who's never used Edison might think.
All of this with drag and drop functionality in and out of the plugin makes it incredibly useful. Really hope IL gives it a second chance.
