Sort of like how some people may call all facial tissues Kleenex. Perhaps the OP did the same. Because nothing in that "teaser" make me think "sounds like one of Bob Moog's synthesizers".
Cmon. No one says Mewg... :hihi:

Moog, like moot with a 'g', or like the musical 'fugue' with an 'm'.

But Mewg, Myoug.

And sorry but from the UK, Mogue like Rogue doesn't work either. Sorry Bob!

Wow. That teaser video told me exactly nothing. I didn't hear anything that is going to have me on pins and needles waiting to find out more.
I wish I could sing as well as the voices inside my head...

Moog Rogue was meant to be a rhyming make/model name. So it's not my fault people in the UK don't speak American properly.

There's a couple things to remember here:

1) I'm sure I read that Bob said half his family pronounce it 'mogue', the other 'moog', so there's not even consistency there (and I assume the original pronunciation - Dutch? German? East European? - is probably pronounced differently again).

2) I'm guessing a lot of people into old synths are old. We didn't have the internet. We saw the name on the back of a synth on Top of the Pops (if it hadn't been gaffer-taped over) or in the credits of an album. We saw Moog. We pronounced it as you see it: 'moog'. Maybe if it had some umlauts or something we may have questioned the pronunciation. I had been saying 'moog' for 35-40 years before I ever heard anyone say 'mogue'. I even own a Moog Rogue. Now that I hear it, 'mogue rogue' sounds a but dumb to be honest. Feels weird now saying it that way.

A bit like Bodicea/Boudicca. The first sounds better to me, but the latter is probably more accurate.

Enough is when every issued Moog has an emulation. Enough is enough!
Weapons of choice (subject to change):
Godin Redline, Kuassa, Fuse Audio, Audiority, Roland A-500pro, Dune, Dagger, TAL, Reaper for Rock & Synthwave pleasures; Viper and FL Studio for guilty EDM pleasures

Sounds very much like a Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced 'Bouquet') thing

Compared with German language this Moog pronounciation problem is quite easy peasy.

So my Moog Rogue should be pronounced 'mochk rochk'. Sounds more like a Klingon greeting.
