I used to say moog like in moot. Then I heard that he pronounces it moog like rogue, so I switched, because I respect the man I'm not a jerk.

What makes you all think Softube is planning a wavetable moog, moog or wavetable synth? The teaser didn't seem predictable. Have there been rumors? What I want the most from Softube is Modular v2 and a lot more classic eurorack modules for it instead of all that keyboard+keyboard as module stuff and proprietary plugin+module stuff that came out in the last couple years. More Buchla+Mutable I want the most...

Probably because it sounds alot like the Moog Animoog synth. It has a sound. That's my guess as well. I would have been happy to finally get Moog to release the Animoog for Windows cpu's.Seems like they released it for mac,but never bothered to support Windows users.

Softube's working on a v2 Modular synth, as already mentioned in this thread.

Sweet working on v2? Do you or anyone happen to know if it's release is scheduled for 2025? I own v1 and didn't do much with it but plugins are just so cheap these days so I bought it on a sale.

I sure hope so. The current version sounds fabulous but is so clunky it's nearly unusable. A major UI overhaul is years overdue.

Yes, and no, for me. I hoped it wouldn't be another Moog, but in the same time, this wasn't anything i wanted either, or for that matter, needed.

For me, probably the teaser combined with what it actually was, I don't think I can find a use case for it. I have a black belt in creating a need for stuff, but I don't know how in this case
