Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but what I’m getting at is that I thought it was worse than that.dermage wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 5:46 pmWouldn't be buying now for 100 and 4 weeks later having to pay another 150 = 250 be steep for owning the current version then? Or in other words, 250 would be the normal price then for TS4.5, so it isn't a deal actually now.elxsound wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 4:55 pmIs that accurate, though?dermage wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 3:58 pmTSMax 4 is already old stuff. This is what IK really thinks of all the dummies that bought Total Studio Max for a $149 the past few months. Who would want to do business with a company like this????![]()
Isn't the issue with IK, that they'll blow things out at a low price, but then offer a newer version with a steep initial price?
In the past, it was always the new user who benefited the most, not an existing customer.
*for the record, I've deleted IK from my system but I did like some of the T-Racks stuff.
I remember it being something like where the sale price + the upgrade price = higher than buying the new Max bundle on release.
Not dying on a hill for this… I honestly can’t remember what was what, but I do remember thinking the last time they did it was some BS. The details of their BS is hazy.
