Yeah... I was expecting this kind of response

Glad to hear that U-he is following this philosophy.

Bazille and Ace definitely are synths with unique points of view, where some limitations can be just as impactful as features.

Still very excited to see lessons learned from hive 2 and z3 applied to bazille 2/ace 2/diva 2 though.

I have always found ACE to have a super charming sound, which is why I've tried to use the synth so many times. Unfortunately, whenever I try to use it, I always get annoyed and frustrated by the confusing default wiring system, whereby some of the labels on the UI become misinformative when you plug stuff in. (Yes, I know that some real-life synths have default wirings, and I know that some people find it "helpful". But, I'm one of the people who find it profoundly unhelpful.) But anyway, I've always loved the ACE sound, so I'd be cautiously excited to try out a successor, and uncautiously excited if the successor had an optional setting to disable any default wiring (i.e., to make the wiring experience like Bazille's).

I have two seemingly-obvious ideas for features that could be added to ACE (and also to Bazille):
- changeable filter modules
- changeable distortion modules (for the Gain pots)
