In Cubase 14 latest brew, Win 10. When i open in the gui of any Melda plugin f.e. the preset popup window and leave this open, when i try to remove the plugin from the Cubase insert (with the popup window still open) the graphics of Cubase are frozen. I need then to end Cubase in task manager and start all over again.

Easy work around, do not remove melda plugins while pop-up windows open, but i think this behaviour is not what you would like to happen as a plugindeveloper.

Not sure if this only happens in the "Free/'free for 49 bucks :)" version, or on all Melda plugins.

By the way; nice Mplugins, happy camper here

Long time Melda user here, and for sure, there have been a couple of occasions over the years, where I have found the graphics buggy on my system, even though everyone else seemed to be ok.
I fixed it when I bought a new computer

Maybe try enabling or disabling GFX acceleration in the settings?
Pretty sure I remember getting some kind of improvement switching that on (or maybe off, can't remember).

Edit:
Oh yeah, that's right... this was in the early days, before they had a GFX acceleration option.
I remember Vojtech giving me some random .dll file, that I put into my Melda folder, and it bypassed GFX acceleration.

But the option is built in now, in settings, so maybe try turning it off.

I have the same problem, and it's because Cubase opens a pop-up asking if you really want to remove the plugin (discard its changes), and the Cubase pop-up is hidden by the Melda pop-up.

If you switch to the Cubase pop-up with alt+tab and hit enter, Cubse should respond again.

Maybe the Melda pop-up windows shouldn't insist to be at the very top all the time...
