you can also use Sigmod by Nugen (although payware) which works on silicon too.

Great suggestions, thanks! Wasn't aware there is a newer version actually, I was still on 1.1.0.

Sigmod seems like a really solid solution too, it's on the list for sure. I am looking for a mac solution yes, and vst3 or CLAP ideally. Thanks for the update!

I also didn't realise there was a 2.1.1 for Mac, but I see it still doesn't store its threshold setting between sessions. I solve this by having a value of +2.5 set using automation.

no latency reported, but I can't make it work in bitwig. works fine in live 12.

Here ice9 works in Bitwig, macOS 14.
