I know it's not a "real" Oberheim, and I know it's not considered to be an even good one. But I miss my OB-12, so I'm hoping for OB-12 :D

...also, it's not even e classic one, I believe it came out in 2000. But you can always dream, right? :)

6, 12, or 1000..? C'mon, be specific! ;)

I think they'll do an Xpander or Matrix 12 - not sure this will be it though.
The Matrix 12 , I’ve been sending them requests for this for quite awhile now. Hope they bring back one of my favorite synths ever made.

It'll be a Matrix11. Odd numbers are all the rage these days.

Unless there are features that are additional to the original model and then it will be called a "Matrix 13" (unless someone at GForce is superstitious and has triskaidekaphobia. Then it will be called "Matrix 14" (or 15?))

Wow, a bass-station. That is seriously anticlimactic. And not because I didn't guess it right, I was hoping I was wrong because I definitely don't need more synthesizers. But I was not expecting to be this wrong, as a bass-station is as much at the other end of the spectrum as possible, for where the Syrinx is. I can see people (including myself) jumping for a Syrinx emulation, but I don't see how a bass-station would be an extension of the sonic palette I already have these days.

Oh well

That explains it a bit I think. Seems to have some Novation incentives behind it.

This is awesome. I was about to buy it, but free is even better. :D

Wasn't there a bass-station VST from Novation before?

Ah, found it, and they gave that one away for free before:

I didn't download that one (for free) either :D

They used to charge for it.

I would be more excited, about a new V-Station plugin. Used it a lot in the 2000s.
