Hi All.... I'm using Tracktion with an Onyx 1620 w/ the firewire card into a Powerbook G4. Everything was going smoothly until today when I tried to record and got the following error message: RECORD ERROR: The Directory: /Applications/Tracktion/tracktion app/Contents/MacOS/Mark1/Users/michaels/Music/H&A 1-9-05 doesn't exist or doesn't have write access. How do I change the directory?

I use a PC, but I'll have a go anyway.
Select an audio input: the record path option appears at the bottom of the screen, just below "record mode"
Pressing "reset filename" resets it to the project directory \ track name etc.
Hope that helps..

Dear Platinumears.... Thanks very much for the response. I tried your suggestion, and, at least on the MAC, what seemed to finally get it was highlighting the "filename" box, pressing the "DELETE" key, and then pressing the "Reset filename" button.
Thanks again,
