Shift+New combination doesn't work

Hi,
•Bitwig v 5.2.7.
•Push 2 with 24.7.0 script
Topic:
Playing one clip, I would like to create a new one,
slecting a cell first,
then just create a new clip with Shift+New (without playing it) (as a mouse double click) as reported in the ref. Manual:
it seems my shift+New combination not working; if i use this combination, it create a new clip playing it.

Does the shift key itself work with other combinations? Have you tried assigning it via midi mapping?

Shift key works with other combs, yes! Why i need to assign Shift button via midi mapping?
