Hi sir I know Ive given you some questions lately. sorry . I have another one. For the Launch Control XL track select, we can select project groupings when we press these buttons. Great idea! However the project folder is included as the first fader when doing so and its hard to remember. Anyway we can get an option to exclude the group folding folder from the faders so the first fader controls the first sound within the project group?

Does Korg Keystage work well with Generic Flexi? Im particularly interested in device parameter control (and paging) with the Screen readout. Thinking about buying one to try to get it to work...

I am afraid I do not follow. From the linked post I understood that it does not send CC at all?!xtreme sounds wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2025 7:57 pm is seems flexi select previous track and select next track are not working. I keep having to reprogram the flexi script for the digitakt. I know I had it right and then all of the sudden it doesnt work. I think I know what is happening. I am using the Digitakt with the folded keyboard and scales mode (set to minor). So pressing the same button is somehow changing the midi cc depending on the scale. I switched scales and pressed the same button pad and a differnt midi cc is detected. However I never changed the scale during the session but the digitakt loses the flexi programming on the pads anyway. Something must be happening behind the scenes. Do you think that is the issue ? I suppose it is. even if I finally get it programmed and working if I change the scale then the pads will change midi cc values and the script wont work. I was hoping to use the Digitakt as a proper midi controller with the flexi to control 8 plugins at once but it looks like it cant do it using the pads. knobs only. If you know a way please let me know. https://www.elektronauts.com/t/auto-cha ... ysex/60063
When using notes you need to make sure that you do not get a mix-up between mapping a note to a command and wanting to play it on the keyboard. Note that there is a separate section in the Generic Flexi configuration for the keyboard (= MIDI notes).

Are you using the latest DrivenByMoss release? This should be fixed.xtreme sounds wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2025 9:03 pm Another issue is the setting select next rack goes to first track instead. perhaps these settings are not all labelled correctly. Everytime I press the button it goes to the first track.

This irritating error actually means that the MIDI port is already in use. I noticedin Bitwig sometimes that it close/opens ports too quickly and then the port is blocked.xtreme sounds wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2025 10:06 pm Also when running the flexi script on launch control xl at the same time using the script for akaie fire sometimes throws a memory error popup even though it is working.
Fingers crossed this will finally go away with the next Windows update incl. MIDI 2.0.

What Bitwig support told you: there is only one cursor device. But with Bitwig 5 we got the track remote controls (and project remote controls) as well. This way you could map parameters from a 2nd device to these. Use the functions in "Track Remotes" in Generic Flexi.xtreme sounds wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 4:16 pm Sorry one more thing. So using the Flexi script I created 2 midi channels each sending midi cc70-77 to device parameter 1 -8. one midi channel is sending on 9 and the other on 10. I saved the script. The issue is that unless the device is selected the knobs wont change the remote control knobs in the vst (device parameters 1-8). What I want to do is select my hardware track on midi channel 9 and move the knobs to control the device receiving ion channel 9, and a differnt plugin receiving those remote control parameters on midi channel 10. Both channels send to the device pages when a device is selected. also it wont send unless a device is selected. Bitwig support tells me this is how remote control pages work. Yikes. Each track can receive its own midi note information. So i do not know why this is. Can you please explain what is going on so I can understand better?

Both noted.Fenrok wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:01 pm I'd like too suggest the following in Bitwig for Maschine Mk3 support:
1) Add the large Editor screen to be toggled with the "Arrange" in configuration settings (or Shift+Arrange). This is my most requested feature, as I toggle regularly between Arrange and Edit view (keeping Device open on bottom panel)
2) Add a similar option for the smaller sub-panel on bottom, using Shift+Mixer. This would be handy for viewing Arrange and Edit at the same time.
Don't think that this is possible.Fenrok wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:01 pm 3) Button to zoom into the clip length and/or notes already written, or do it automatically when Editor is open. Helpful for quickly editing notes.
It might be possible to re-create the Maschine workflow to a degree but it is limited by the way that the sequencer is currently accessible via the Bitwig API. I wanted to do this already in the past but ran in to many issues. An overhaul of this API is already requested from Bitwig since a long time.Fenrok wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:01 pm 4) Add Note Editing features like Maschine/MPC/Studio One workflow in Editor view, such as selecting multiple notes, finely nudging selected notes (keystroke shift+left/right), transposing selected notes (keystroke up/down), shortening/lengthening notes, duplicating selected notes (use existing Shift pads), and erasing notes (use Erase). I believe these would work in Bitwig, since keyboard commands can do this.

Everything you need to know is in the DrivenByMoss manual.johnghadimi wrote: Thu Jan 09, 2025 5:31 pm I'm excited to resurrect my Novation Remote SL 37.. I used to love using this controller back in the day and after hooking it up today, I realized that it's not working as expected, so excited to put this extension to use..
Had a a very specific question related to this controller: do I need to be in a specific template number to properly use this extension? This came with all of these preset templates for different DAWs and VSTs. I wasn't sure if I need to be on a specific template number to not conflict with anything. Any guidance there would be appreciated. And thank you again for the hard work on this. Very exciting!!

You won't get any meaningful screen output with Generic Flexi.Fenrok wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 3:37 pm Does Korg Keystage work well with Generic Flexi? Im particularly interested in device parameter control (and paging) with the Screen readout. Thinking about buying one to try to get it to work...

Hey, I'm trying to implement MinorTom's machine jam note nudging code into your code (for the akai fire). It's fairley complicated and I was wondering if you know a way to map the alt + shift keyboard shortcut that nudges notes to a midi controller? The functionality already exists so (hoping) there is a super easy solution

You can check if it is available via Actions.wimvandenborre wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:23 am Hey, I'm trying to implement MinorTom's machine jam note nudging code into your code (for the akai fire). I am afraid I don't have the time to give support in development. But just a quick hint: all creations need to happen in ModelImpl.wimvandenborre wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 10:45 am How do I get to Controllerhost from in your code to create createApplication()? iHost doesn't have a method.
