I'm with you on this one. Really liked V1 and used it a lot but with V2 it completely lost the intuitive and I felt overwhelmed with all the added features, so I barely used it.HOTF wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 5:58 pm Never got much use out of V2. I feel like the workflow of the plugin lead me to "by the book" functionnal harmony wich is not what I am looking for. However, this might be a ME problem. I hope there is an option for a more exploratory workflow in this new version. Also the multiple lane stuff is intriguing.![]()

It can now deliver newer chords.
All progressions are updated.
The old ones have become a bit dusty and cliche.
E.g. the C Major chord sounds far more concincing now.
Fresh and crispy.
Well done, Plugin Boutique!

I just barely bought Scaler 2 at the end of last year. I've never even installed it. Now there is a new version?!? Am I going to have to pay all over again?!? *SIGH*

I haven’t watched the second longer video, but does anyone know if you can now sort results for a scale you add in to Scaler that you know the key of? I always know what key I’m in, just not the scale. In Scaler 2 here I found it annoying that it randomly sorts the suggested scales without regard to key..

It would be interesting to see. Although most daws offer a package for working with chords and melodies, scaler is one of the best add-ons in this section.
