wav files missing for Trap Bass

Hi all,

when I'm loading Trap Bass in MSoundfactory I get errors on MDrummer wav files that it cannot find, and if I look in the directory that is given, files and directories are not there indeed. Wav files should be in MDrummer/Samples/Synth/Bass/Analogue/, MDrummer/Samples/Synth/Bas/HipHop/, etc. the directories HipHop and Analogue I do not have under /Bass/,

How can I solve this?

Aah, you are missing MDrummerEssentials addon. You was probably notified by MPluginManager during installation of MSoundFactory to install this essential addon as some MSF instruments are using its samples.

To fix this situation, start MPluginManager and install MDrummerEssentials (2nd tab). Please note, that some presets of Trap Bass instruments are using also samples from ElectronicGenres, so install this one as well.

To avoid such issues in the future, we are working on MSoundFactory feature, which will notify you which specific addon is missing and starts MPluginManager to install them if needed in a more smooth way.

The missing samples were from MDrummerEssentials. Next, I expect you have MSoundFactory Essentials installed, as well as the MSoundFactory factory instruments. Do you have them?

Make sure you did not change the MDrummer factory path and the MSoundFactory sample path after you installed the essentials addons. If you did, you need to reinstall the addons by double-clicking on their "installed version" labels.

Verify i.e. if your MDrummer path is: C:/MDrummer , that samples of MDrummerEssentials are here: C:\MDrummer\Samples ...

Guess I was not very clear,.. I had those installed, but it did not work.
I did reinstall with the double click and now it is installed correctly, Trap Bass does not give errors anymore.
I have the MSoundfactory Essentials installed, if that is what you mean.
Maybe another question: I have not installed the Studio2008-2018 and Drumempire 2020 because of the huge size. Would that be useful without having MDrummer?

These two huge packs are usually not needed when using just MSoundFactory.
