We will probably never know. But there were rumors on the internet for a long time now that DR had financial issues. Actions to improve the situation were probably not considered early enough, or the wrong actions were taken. This is how most companies fail.jcq wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:56 am For me, the only thing i would like to know is the real reason/explanation (and not speculation) on the bankruptcy, it will help me to digest the loss of my money.
Also keep in mind that competition in this space came up rapidly in the last years. When ShareIT started decades ago there was not a lot of competition in this space.

Wow, googling for “Lenovo digital river Reddit” is interesting, and would explain why people are wary of them.

On a slightly different topic. . .
Anyone having the same as me? My sales are way down since all this DRI sh*t kicked off. Down about 50%
I have 2 main products. One going via 2checkout and the other via fastspring.
I suppose I could blame the MoR but the checkouts look good. No failed orders etc. I'm kind of wondering if some bad reputation from DR has rubbed off and is affecting my sites' search performance or even over-protective antimalware, browser protection programs somehow throwing up warnings when somebody wants to go to my site?
Anyone else?
How is your new MoR performing? Sales up/down, no difference?
Thanks

Also no big difference here.
Most of my customers are US based. They often complain about the taxes that did not exist with DR sending out of Germany for b2b.
Most of my long term customers were much happier with DR. But that's history. They destroyed a great platform.

Wait, Wisecleaner's 'store' page seems to be OK.

Looks like this is the case. It also takes a while to get a new store up and running.quikquak wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 5:18 pm They deleted their stuff and did not set anything else up?
Wait, Wiseclearner's 'store' page seems to be OK.
E.g. Fastspring, the integration for me took less than a day. But it took them 2 weeks to bring my store to the live system. They also had a KYC process.

Two weeks isn't long, and they gave me a LOT of help in the process, but that was all back in October for me. I guess people just hang in there at DR, hoping for the best while not being paid at all.

Has anyone else had their control panel blocked recently?
My control panal was working yesterday, as I didn't make any returns and even very rare sales sometimes happened (forgotten auto-subscriptions). And today, my control panal was blocked.

They are closing accounts where most products are disabled to avoid ppl doing refunds of past orders since they are not paying out what they owe to vendors. They usually not even send an email when closing your account. They just do not give a crap about vendors anymore.

I believe it is different as also I got plenty of emails "The subscription for ***** was cancelled. The subscription was cancelled due to changes to the product." All my products was active, no refunds, and few dozens sales per months thru DR.
So, looks like they don't want to accept a new payments from customers.
