Supaphaser is still nice. The free Melda phaser is great. Also just using random combinations of notches in serial can get cool phaser sounds. Unless there's a very specific sound you want from a pedal or some old gear, I'd think you could get pretty amazing sounding phasing very easily.

I've demoed it and while I really liked the sound, the site feels dead, latest news is from 2013, feels like a zombie company.
Would love a modern modeled version of Electro-Harmonix Small Stone by an active developer, any other suggestions for that one in particular?

Would really love to see new modulation pedal plugs this year. I'm hoping for Arturia's "3 Modulations you'll actually use" version 2.0. It's been a while since that was out, so it may be time for some refresh.
I hope they do the coveted old Mistress, an old Small Stone, and for chorus, rarely mentioned CE-5 or CH-1 would be nice, though the most common CE-2 is more likely. Hopefully, Waza Craft model for more flexibility.
Actually, DC-2 Waza is probably the coolest of the bunch, but since they already did Roland Dimension D, pedal version is unlikely.
I think, the best underdog flangers and phasers and in Steinberg Yamaha Vintage Stomp Pack, btw. Anybody remember those?
Shame the interfaces were never updated and they look tiny on modern screens. Still, a very decent Phase 100 Script in there, which I never saw done elsewhere.

The Tim P free flanger pack is pretty impressive if you have Nebula, especially with the Azzimov skin

And I find myself using DDL phaser over and over. Not for everyone, since it’s a particular sound, but it’s very good at what it does

We’re one closer!jamcat wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 10:30 pm Unfortunately, there is still a dearth of proper flanger and phaser pedal models. Models of the BOSS BF-2 and MXR-117 flangers, and BOSS PH-1r & PH-2, MXR Phase 100, and EHX Small Stone phasers are the most desperately needed.
Audiority has released Flanger 117: a complete model of the MXR M-117 flanger!

I like this one very much. Never used the hardware it's emulating, I just think it sounds great and unique.DJDJ wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2025 3:19 amAnd I find myself using DDL phaser over and over. Not for everyone, since it’s a particular sound, but it’s very good at what it does

Phaser: big fan of NI Phasis which is pretty unique and sounds great. Also Phase Mistress, Bitwig Phaser+, Arturia Phaser whatever it's called.
Flanger: Flair by NI, Arturias Flanger which again I cannot name but use quite a bit.
Thay said, I typically used Polyverses Filterverse these days for more controlled phaser/flanger/comb filtering. Especially like the Fractazer and Robocomb filters. So good. But eats a lot pf CPU.
