Does it go directly to CV2, or does it do nothing until CV3 comes out?
I guess it will give you a license to CV 2 and a free update to CV 3. That is how it is communicated…

In my AAS account I found an offer to purchase CV2 for $39 as I had Objeq Delay. My understanding is a purchase of CV2 now will give you CV3 for free.

Plugin Boutique currently offers Objeq Delay for $10.

I have the following upgrade options in my account.

If I upgrade to CV-2 with the preset pack, will I still get the upgrade to CV-3? If so, why even offer the option to upgrade to CV3 directly. I'm confused.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Their website says 'If you've purchased Multiphonics CV‑2 since November 15, 2024, you'll automatically receive Multiphonics CV‑3 in your account on release day—completely free of charge. Wether you already own Multiphonics CV‑1 or CV‑2, we offer multiple options helping you upgrade or complete your sound pack collection or bundle at any time.'

which implies that you'll get the upgrade. However I would contact them directly to be absolutely sure.

I imagine showing both options is because you'd get CV-2 now because its available, but CV-3 is a preorder, so you'd not get anything for a month.

I was hoping someone here already bought the upgrade and could let me know, but I'll probably have to contact them directly.

So why would anyone choose that option now? It doesn't make sense to me to offer it, but who knows. Maybe they have a good reason.

at a guess, what they've done is kept the existing upgrade path to CV-2 for CV-1 owners (which also does the common thing of grandfathering in CV-3 ownership after announcement date), and added a new upgrade path to CV-3 aimed at CV-2 owners, but made that visible to CV-1 owners as well.
that would be compared to the other possible way of doing it - adding two new upgrade paths, and removing the existing one.
the result is obviously clumsier for the end -user.

I think it's pretty clear from the banner on the CV3 page "If you've purchased Multiphonics CV‑2 since November 15, 2024, you'll automatically receive Multiphonics CV‑3 in your account on release day—completely free of charge."

When you bought CV2 from your Objeq Delay, did you receive CV2?

If so - you now have CV2 and are still seeing an upgrade offer for CV3?

This whole thing seems like a huge mess and it definitely makes me hesitate on it even though I'm interested.

Clicking on "Multiphonics CV-3 info" in the picture on the right side is where I saw the higher priced options I mentioned earlier.
I'm logged in and have CV1.

From what they have posted, you will get CV3 when it comes out.
But it would be good to know that for 100% sure.
Will you please post their response here when you get it?
