I'm curious if I can get an even more click attack on Zebra 2 (or any other u-he synth) while I'm trying to synthesize some drums/percussion. I've tried the different envelope modes and also bypassed the envelope of the default env 1 and modulate the oscillator level directly with an MSEG.

EDIT: I also already switched off soft attack in the global pane.

How can I get the volume curve even more clicky in the attack stage? (I'm asking about volume shaping, not about pitch modulation.) Thanks! :tu:

There’s a Smooth Attack option that’s enabled by default in the main tab near the Poly, Mono etc menu, if I remember correctly.

Sorry, it’s the Global tab, and it’s the Soft Attack button.

EDIT: Bazille has the same option in the Tweaks & FX tab

Yeah, I already switched that off to get a faster attack. Sorry for not mentioning that, I forgot. I'm still not getting the attack (with click) that some drum synths would give me.

I just tried this. Keep Env1 as your main envelope. Modulate the volume again with Env2. I had it set in v-slope mode with curve slider at -100, and decay at 17. Time Base at 8sX. If you want more click modulate volume again with Env2 in another matrix slot, or oscillator volume.
Hopefully that will be closer to what you are looking for?

I think I found what I was looking for. I noticed some drums didn't start at 0 phase, so I dialed in some phase to not let it start at 0 and now I've got a nice clicky sound. I guess this is also how Microtonic does it?

Cool, glad you found a solution. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for helping me get there! :-)
