haha I suppose so.
In more serious news -- I wonder if this is being given as a free gift because they're going to discontinue it shortly? I don't think it's been updated in over a year...

^^^ Not the least bit concerned about that personally... to quote myself from the Steinberg Backbone thread in instruments:
I've been impressed with and wanted to explore the resynthesis and time-stetching potential it offers, particularly with non-percussive samples, so getting it for free with a $20 purchase was sweet indeed.

There may be a batch of them via PB that have specific numbers in the access code ..
Everyone should get one
They do charge for upgrades .. so it may not be that clever to buy to sell if a new version comes out soon.. Having Absolute is best as upgrades are inc. untill big release comes out.

Does anyone know of any cheaper product than 5 euro at Plugin Boutique? I guess you know what I'm after.
(In case you want to make a purchase at Plugin Boutique and don't need the current freebie... please let me know. I'm happy to trade for something else.)

With such a good deal you have to think this is being abandoned or a v2 is round the corner. Perhaps having the option to switch from layers mode to midi notes (kit) would make it more appealing.

I bought Spectron for $15 - I'd rather pay a bit more for something I would use than less for some crappy presets I'd never usekodnin wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 10:46 am Does anyone know of any cheaper product than 5 euro at Plugin Boutique? I guess you know what I'm after.![]()

It seems very sketchy that Tone Foundry on Plugin Boutique describes their Pigments Colour presets as being specifically for "Pigments 6" whereas other Pigments presets on Plugin Boutique are just for "Pigments". That led me to believe that they were using the new features in Pigments 6, but the Tone Foundry expansions were released in July 2024, so unless they were redone after the release of Pigments 6, they're not actually using the new features.db3 wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:42 am I bet the Tone Foundry team are rubbing their hands together![]()

Also, yesterday Plugin Boutique said the Tone Foundry sale on Pigments presets was going to end January 31st, but I see the sale is still on today, and marked as a sale---with no specified end date. However when I go to the "deals" page---which always specifies end dates---and sort by price, lowest to highest, the Tone Foundry individual expansion packs don't even show up, just their bundles, with end date February 28th.
