sounds better than arturia version, also it is one single vst3 file, not 13 000 files clogging your ram like the arturia one
aliasing plugin owner

Sounds better? That's a bit optimistic.

Hope you're ok on this hyper critical tear up you're doing the past couple of days.

The CS80 was obviously a very capable poly, but it had more expressiveness than others.

This is a fairly good overview. Sounds good to me. I probably wouldn't buy one though. Too pricey. :hihi:

(Not my Video)

The guy in the video mentions pitch strip for The Eighty and that it doesn’t have much range, and it can’t be adjusted, etc. The pitch bend can be adjusted by going to the Modulations tab.

Also, he said Aftertouch only goes to volume, but you can map it to many things in that same Mod tab.

Going by youtube comments this is going to be a paid synth. Maybe 'free beta' in the headline would be more accurate.

Also crazy that he said he only started coding synths in november.

So does Stevie Wonder like this plugin?

Boo hoo. Was going to make some presets on this but the GUI fills my entire screen in both FL and Reaper, so the bottom is cut off. Can't even load the demo presets. Please make it smaller or put in a Resize option. Thanks. (What I did hear was very nice.)

N/M - Found it. Kind of hidden, but already made a nice pad. This sounds great.

Same here except Sequoia 15.3. Getting around Security wasn't an issue for the .AU component.

The VST3 version, on the other hand, could not get around the security "fix" (which has worked for dozens of unsigned VST3 plugins). So it was impossible to launch it in Cubase 14 natively. But Elements to the rescue...which runs the AU version in Cubase.

A fairly nice sounding thing particularly for free (for now)...but a CS-80 clone? Not even close.

Genuinely funny line.

This sounds nice. Hosever I was about to render out a demo track and it hung and then crashed Reaper. So perhaps some instability. Reaper macOS intel AU.

Clearly trying to joke around like only German can. :hihi:

I do like that they've chosen that architecture though with both hpf and lpf per layer/oscillator.

Pretty good first impression over here. Nice overall tone, maybe a bit brittle in the upper end, aliasing. :? But its nice, also the simplified GUI and UI. :phones:
