How to enable REX in MuLab v9 on macOS Sequoia ?

macOS question: As soon as I want to open a .rx2 file within MuLab v9 I get the prompt "REX not yet enabled on your system". There is a 'REX Shared Library.bundle' in the MuLab folder. I tried to de-quarantinize with the provided app but that did not help.
How can I enable REX on my system ?

It works on an Intel Mac (Mulab 9.5 on Ventura). If I drag and drop an RX2 file from a Mac folder (or drag an RX2 file from MuLab's Browser) onto the Composer Timeline I get the option to create an Audio Sequence or a Sliced Multi-sample.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

So I need an Intel Mac to have REX eanbled ? I'm on a new M4 MacBook Pro. Sad to hear that REX is not supported on Apple Chips Macs. But thank you for this answer.

While MuLab itself is a universal application bundle (contains both amd64 and arm64 binaries), the REX Shared Library only contains an Intel one.
You can probably make it work on an Apple Silicon Mac by running MuLab under Rosetta instead of natively, though this may have an impact on plugin compatibility, so you may need to take steps to rescan plugins or similar if making this switch.

It looks like native Apple Silicon support was added to version 1.9.0 of the REX library (1.9.2 is current).
MuLab still ships with 1.7.0 for some reason. Note that dropping the 1.9.2 bundle into the folder is unlikely to work if MuLab is expecting 1.7.0 - the developer needs to update the app to use the newer library.

As a workaround, you could try Easy REX Convertor https://audiohelperproject.com/products ... converter/ to batch convert your REX files to WAVs for MuLab (and Apple Loops for Logic). WAVs dropped onto the MuLab Composer Timeline as AudioSequences or Sliced Multi-Samples appear to have similar features to REX files.
