There's a GUI issue with the standalone version of SM3. When I resize the GUI to anything above 100% I get this:

So the window gets larger but the actual GUI gets cropped.
I'm on Windows 10.

Yes, it's the latest version. 3.1.1

But I just noticed that if I close and reopen SM3 the problem disappear, so this is not such a big deal.

Ah, now I remember: I'm using Windows 11 and had a non-standard Windows scale set on my laptop: 125%.
And somehow Windows had hung up itself. When I reset it to default and then set it again to 125, the issue was gone IIRC.

I'm also using the 125% display scaling in Windows but setting it to default (100%) doesn't resolve this issue with SM3 (nor setting it to 100% and then back to 125%). The only difference is that if I set it to default (100%) the issue in SM3 appears when the GUI is resized to 140% or more (so it doesn't appear when resized to 120%).

Hm - yeah, I don't know what had happened on my machine, it showed me some weird message about something having to be reset - and only after I did that it worked. No problems since. And it needed an actual reboot to really work IIRC.

I am back from NAMM and started working on SynthMaster 3 iOS. I will be fixing latest reported issues in the coming weeks.

I am also trying to plan ahead for after SynthMaster 3 iOS. I have plans for adding preset import from hardware synths via SYSEX. I will start with Yamaha DX7 and Nord Lead 2. They have well documented sysex implementations. (and hopefuly we will release separate simpler synths for those 2 well known synths in the future)

From LA, I purchased an OBx8 desktop version. Let us see what will come out of that next year. I will be working on creating an internal tool which will simply for our team to "sample" analog synth parameters.

I hope the yet-to-be-seen SM3 manual doesn't get lost in all that activity? Or, when you said you'd be working on it in Nov., maybe you meant Nov. 2025?

Hi, happy 2025! The dev bought a fine new hardware synth, and announced a new focus on sampling for SM3 purposes, and I think the capabilities of the new interface would be a fine combo. It's also pretty small, good with a new desktop synth in place. And it's a cross platform setup, both in hardware and software domains. Seems like a good fit for the future. I'd guess he stopped by their booth at NAMM

Yes I visited Bigwig booth and talked to Stephen about bundling SynthMaster Player or SynthMaster One as part of "Bitwig Circle". I hope they get back to me on that

Actually It will be a new product. a software version of OBX8, which can also be used as an OBX8 editor via sysex preset exchange.

I also have plans for sysex preset exchange for Yamaha DX7 & Nord Lead 2 (and hopefully release separate products for them). Those 2 have thousands of presets on the internet. I also got a feature request for Synth1 integration. Apparently Synth1 has tens of thousands of presets on the internet
