Try doing this in your DAW and see if you can even get close to 100 with these synthesizers, show it in a video.
Honestely, I haven´t even noticed that it is a video... I thought it would be a screenshot...

Nonetheless:
1. too little information for any judging... what presets?...unison??...if so how many voices?? processing on the tracks???... effects in the synths??

2. S1 is constantly in the red without the slightest twitch... as the video has no sound (perhaps for a good reason) ...how shall we know if it isn´t crackling like hell?

3. To measure the CPU why so complicated?? One held chord (3-4 or 5 notes) over i.e. 32 bars without any restriggering for an instance of the chosen instruments (which in best case should do the same preset... same unison if so, same amount of filters etc... even better just use a single instrument with the same preset to make it easier to replicate)
Duplicate them till it starting to underrun...
Count the voices: number of tracks x number of notes x number eventual unision voices= result!

This voice count you could perhaps compare with other machines to see if S1 runs good in general or if it´s just a lucky match on your machine.
What you did here is actually nonsense... sometimes chords...sometimes single notes...sometimes gaps... this is not suitable for a proper test...

Do it properly and repeat the same in other DAWs with the same system... then you can compare properly...
Probably S1 runs best on your system... perhaps Reaper is able to do 30% more... probably what works best for you is upside down on a different setup ...who knows... if it even matters...

Sorry I stay with what I said... this doesn´t tell anything... But if you are happy... why not! :tu:

I wish there was a way to change the skin or create a new one for the new instruments in Studio One, the editor screen, for the knobs and dials for Deep Fight One clashes with the background image.

The skins don't really matter if you don't install or open the new instruments.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

That's not a solution, and it's one that needs addressed by Presonus. I would have thought that there would have been some user functionality in terms of user custonisation.

Yeah, it would be great if Studio One allowed full skin customization for instruments! Some DAWs and plugins have skinning options, but Studio One doesn’t offer much in terms of UI customization for built-in instruments.

For Deep Flight One, if the knobs and dials are clashing with the background, you might be able to improve visibility by adjusting contrast settings on your monitor or tweaking Windows/Mac display settings.

Otherwise, you could check if third-party themes or mods exist (though Presonus doesn’t officially support them). Some users have found ways to modify UI elements in older versions, but it’s not straightforward.

Would be awesome if Presonus added an official theme editor!

I Have been away from Studio1 for a while…
I have been using mostly FL Studio in the meanwhile.
Just opened Studio1 version 6 (I think it’s the latest you can get without buying version 7).

Studio1 has some very good advantages over FL, but the piano roll is so much smoother to use in FL (and FL opens sooo much faster). I didn’t really like the way Presonus marketed Studio1 7 (no demo for long time unless you paid for the subscription) and the videos before the launch were they mostly spoke about the new price models it just felt like Presonus is pushing the subscription model too much.

And that is absolutely their right to do so. But it is not really appealing to me. I am not into subscription models at this point.

That's why a perpetual license is the other "best" option.

Yep, I am staying on version 6 perpetually.
