I got backbone with lunacy beam. Lotta steinberg utility apps come with that fyi,
lotta bloat in other words. Still I took it
for free, tho I’m not sure I’ll use it much
personally.
I did grab the Beatsurfing Random bundle,
which I think is pretty cool, if not ideal as
A drum machine.

Yeah, I am aware I can buy some throwaway presets for Massive or whatever to get Backbone.
I nickel and dime myself often.

SSL Native X-Comp is $7.99 directly from solidstatelogic.com with code COMPRESSION until 16th Feb.
Site is hammered atm, and I had to input the code a few times for it to be accepted, and now I can't checkout. Getting a invalid iLok account error.

Not working for me. Waited in line to login. Added to cart. Having to refresh page often. Then is says the code is invalid. Maybe wait a day or two.

That's one type of plugin I don't have too many of in my collection. I have most of the IK T-Racks stuff (Total Studio MAX 3.5) and a few from other developers. One of those "others" is made for mastering (Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor) and the Sonitus comps from Sonar are pretty old now.Olnium wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 7:21 pm SSL Native X-Comp is $7.99 directly from solidstatelogic.com with code COMPRESSION until 16th Feb.

Do you think in my case this might be a good one to get? I guess at this price it's a bit of a no-brainer.

That's what I thought. I've already got T-Racks 670 and I like that style of compression. I haven't been able to try it yet. Managed to checkout and have received a purchase confirmation email but it doesn't show in my account or iLok yet.Examigan wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 11:41 pm Do you think in my case this might be a good one to get? In case any of the other X-series plugins appeal to you, they are going on sale on Friday.Examigan wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 11:41 pm That's one type of plugin I don't have too many of in my collection.
