Drum Computer - Reverbs not fully working / inaccessible settings

Hey there,

I already sent a support mail to Sugar Bytes but I wanted to share my experience here in the forum.

The problem is that in most cases, especially when using the "init" kit the Room and Hall reverbs do nothing. The send dials are not adding any reverberation to the drum sounds. Neither do the reverb settings themselves work. I can use the Room or the Hall reverb when I open up another factory preset that uses one of the reverbs.

In the manual it states:

"Send Effects & Master
Two incredibly good sounding reverbs are found in the Send Effects section. Use the faders in the mixer to define the send fx output level.
Assign the send effects to individual audio outputs in the Settings"

The Settings are accessible via the cog wheel. But other than a chart of all the assigned channels, I can do nothing there - just look at the assignments.

The reverb is non-functional and I am wondering if it has been since app launch...or if it's just a glitched due to iOS18? I tried to look at walktroughs of Drum Computer on Youtube for either the iPad and the desktop version but I couldn't really find any useful info.

quick update:

I tested the mac desktop demo and the reverb is functional! So it seems this issue is limited to the iOS version of Drum Computer.

spoke with SB support and it appeared to be a glitch with the app updating itself. somehow the reverb got broken with a recent automatic update. I uninstalled the app completely and then re-downloaded it via the iOS app store. the reverbs are now working normally!
