Had Wotja 4 and now paid $39.99 for the new Wotja 5.
This was the single most difficult purchase I have made since the start of the New Year.
Very happy that I made the purchase and $aved.
I hope I will get to play with it soon.

Hi folks, I'm having an issue, and I'm wondering if someone can test the AUV3 for me on Ableton Live 12.1 on a Mac. I'm using the AUV3 plugin, and whenever I close the plugin window and reopen it, the whole plugin is greyed out (Though the music continues to play). I have to re-instantiate the plugin to view the interface again.

I'm trying to determine if this issue is unique to my system. Thank you.

Hi! We've seen a couple of reports of intermittent issues when Ableton is hosting the AUv3 of Wotja. We've got some NFR version from Ableton to allow us investigate, but Wotja 25.1 development has got in the way of things at the moment.

I just discovered this app.. WOW this is awesome. I have been looking for an app. like this for quite some time to help supplement my 32 bit H.G. Fortune VSTi's and Rob Papen's "Blade 2" and "GO2x" on my PC. I bought the Android version though, because I wanted to be able to create soundscapes without having to carry my laptop around. However I did give up on looking for this type of app. on Android a long time ago because I couldn't find anything that was worth my time. It seemed like no one bothered to do something like this for Android. Maybe I just didn't come across it. But the other day I said to myself, "Self" let me see if there has been anything new for music apps.. Then I found Wotja. Thank you for a fantastic app.. Next I will get the PC version. I will say that the learning curve is steep for me but I will push through. I apologize for the rambling but I am so happy to have discovered Wotja.

We have two versions for Android - and have done for quite a few years now - one for Google Play, and one for Amazon (FireOS).

However, the Google Play version only became available in the US store last month (January 2025), so I guess that could explain why you'd not seen it before?

As always, we'd ask you please - if you can find the time! - to leave us a review on Google Play, as positive reviews really help us, mainly by helping encourage other people out there to give Wotja a go. And, hopefully, enjoy it as much as you do!

I've been loosely keeping up since the Koan/chromedome days (minus the dropout). I've got the free version up and running, as soon as i get familiar i'll be sending some money your way so that i can get into the nuts and bolts. Would like to see a User Manual with charts and such and would really like a downloadable pdf. I have good internet conn for only the third time in 2.5 decades and that may change soon, but i'm content with on line and impressed with Wotja!

I finally have the Pro Win PC version. I do have and issue with it. When I use Wotja in stand-alone mode it works fine but when I try to use it with in my DAW I do not have any sound from Woja. Is there a setting I am missing? Thank you for any help.

Well, I did get it to work somewhat in Cakewalk SONAR X3 just not fully. I'm still trying to get it to work in Mixbus 10 and Mixcraft 10.

There is no option for choosing audio output on the Android version. Is this by design or an error? Or did I miss something? I was hoping to use my audio interface with it. My Wotja PC version has the option.

Hi! It is by design.

The history behind this, is that when I implemented Wotja’s audio interface for Android, the implementation I settled on was the only one I could find that played with smooth audio on the widest range of device powers.

A consequence of this implementation was that this only allowed for the default device audio interface to be used.

That said, I have just now logged a task to re-investigate alternative approaches when I have the time.

Hi! Thanks for letting us know. Wow, that is *super* weird. I genuinely can't think of how that might be happening. Can you provide any more info, e.g. what sort of settings are getting defaulted, and when it happens (if there is any pattern)?

The only settings I change are to use the dark scheme, I set sample rate to 48000 and uncheck the auto play on file open box. There is no pattern to the reset. I'll close the App and when I reopen Wotja it would be back at default settings. It doesn't happen every time it's random. I am using it mostly on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE. The phone I use it on is a Motorola Stylus 5g. It happens on the phone also.

In Wotja 26, we're adding the ability to the Android version of Wotja to choose your audio output device. I've already done the prototyping work to prove that we can do this.
