Would this let us just drag in midi from Ableton to very quickly change chords and scale and then drag it back out? So we could have something like chord tracks in Ableton without needing Max for Live? So odd that Ableton doesn't seem to have added this yet along with all their AI tools... though I guess they want to encourage people to get Studio or the Max for Live add-on to Standard.

They confirmed in a reply to me on YouTube that it will have fretboard visualization, they just haven't shown it yet.
I hope there will be an option to create our own 'performances'/arpeggiator patterns.

I purchased Scaler 2 on Plugin Boutique. I'm thinking of buying from Scalar Music directly. It means paying twice, but they have a discount right now for V2 which includes V3.Alexander_D wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 10:41 am Just pre-order the upgrade from Scaler 2. Waiting the official release

Thanks for pointing it out. That's only $29 for the upgrade to V3.Alexander_D wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 7:17 pmI was purchased version 2 some years ago on Plugin Boutique as well. It's extremely capable, damn awesome actually, but too damn good for its own sake. Too many functions

Must admit after installing Scaler 1 again (to get some more basic chord progression tool compared to Scaler 2) and discovering it's not apple silicon ready I remembered I have a license for xfer Cthulhu and am rediscovering it as a simple chord progression tool. It's not as handy as Scaler, you can't drag the midi chords right from it into a empty midi clip but to get inspiration through some chords hitting a single note on my midi keyboard it's definitely a great plugin (and also apple silicon ready, even though it's currently only in beta).

Scaler 3 looks like it's made the complexity more accessible. Have to try it first of course.
