I learned the nearly-very-hard way to stick a limiter at the end of the chain when dorking around with a new synth or preset pack, just in case.
I actually did have a limiter after it. Unfortunately, unless the the insert effect specifically has NaN value detection code in its input or output path, a NaN input to a limiter (or EQ, or anything) will still result in a NaN output, and may also result in all further output from the plugin also being NaN, even after the input signal stops, due to NaN values being stuck in the filter state variables or other stateful places in the effect's DSP code. That's exactly what happened in my screenshot -- the NaN output from the multi/poly native actually got stuck in the Bitwig limiter and caused the Bitwig limiter to also output NaNs forever until I deleted it and reinserted a new one.

This thing sounds great, but it is slow...damn slow. it's very slow changing presets on my I7 5GHz windows 10 and it's very slow changing presets on my macbook pro m1.
It's fast for me

What's your DAW? I'm Win10/Live 12 and it was slow for me too. Using it within Patchwork or Unify and it's fine. So seems like it might be something on Ableton's end.

Guys, could you enlighten me, how can I use the motion sequencer to create a note sequence, but also having a overlapping release time in the notes? I also am messing around with the triggersource+threshold in the amp envelope to retrigger the notes on pitch changes of the motion tracker... I guess I am doing it wrong :) Maybe I should use an arp retrigger with a single note instead or so?

Anyone know how to set the default opening preset? I'd like it to open in init every time. Tried making a new set list with init and telling settings set list is the new one, but it still opens in Tom Sawyer every time. Settings doesn't seem to remember the set list set.

Post

I made a template for playing it with Komplete Kontrol and that is set to init by default so it does save with the host project - so I suppose you could also create a track template in your DAW?

In Cubendo you can save a default preset in any plugin, not sure what DAW the user has.

I don’t know why every plugin doesn’t have an “init” button.

There is some init performance but no idea or the set at start

Cool additional workflow features would be:

- Swap filters
- Lock sequence (switch presets, but keep sequence)
- Lock arp (switch presets, but keep arp)
- Prelistening wavetables and shapers in the list
- Monophonic free running LFO (unsure if possible)
- One more ENV
- Switching delay types, but keeping settings (at least the ones which are the same)
