I agree in part. The new plugins aren't all that great, but I didn't have the Joe Chiccarelli Vocal Strip and it was a pleasant surprise. It sounds good, it's smart in the way it works with 3 compressors in parallel, and the presets are useful.

IK Multimedia should always work in partnership with good producers and musicians when building modules and presets for Tracks. It works in Amplitube, and would work well in Tracks too...
Another one that I didn't have was the Farm Stone Room, which seems to sound good. So for $30 (the price of a Waves plugin) I think it was worth it.

I just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone is wondering, T-Racks 6 Max installs alongside of T-Racks 5 Max which can be a good thing or bad thing I guess depending on the user but you do end up with a lot of duplicate plugins and I assume any old projects that contain TR5 plugins will be looking for them so I don't think we can just delete them although I didn't try it yet.

At any rate if the $29.99 price still applies is it's as much of a no brainer deal as I seen in recent times. The new plugins are nice but there are also other improvements over TR5 that I am enjoying as well. If you don't already own TR5 then I think it qualifies as an uber-deal.

I wouldn't use 90% of T-Racks 6 and don't even really need the other 10%, but I came so close to buying it anyway. Now I will forever regret it despite knowing full well I'd have buyer's remorse if I bought it.
