Does your comment mean that the latency everybody is talking about seems to adressed by Bitwig and that it is solved? I never paid attention to the latency myself
I can see some latency being compensated 0.4 msec in the mixer
Yes, the latency of EQ+ is now compensated.
It seems that complaining here does have an effect!

My guess is that being perfectionists, usually, they knew deep down that it was not right ... and they tried to ignore it or make excuses for it, but it ate away at their souls until they simply had no choice but to address it properly :-)

They added some latency reporting, however it still does not null with a phase-inverted copy and no filters:

The EQ's oversampling still involves filters, so it's not "no filters", just "no user-created EQ nodes".

I agree with this commenter on Reddit:
Needing an empty EQ to perfectly phase cancel is not a real world problem that any music producers would ever have.

More likely it's the people that emailed their support.

Probably quite a few from here tbh...

Yes, so long as no obvious phasing if used in parallel and it's all good imo.

Can this oversampling be disabled for EQ+ and for everything else? If the answer is no, then does Bitwig still oversample projects that are at higher sample-rates like 96kHz or 192kHz?
