There was a time when I might have watched a video or two, although I never actually have, to see if there are any useful tips on a specific subject to be had but beyond that, what the f**k does he know about what's going on in 2025? e.g. I'll guarantee he uses Cubase because he's always used Cubase, not because he owns every DAW under the sun and did a critical evaluation of each over an extended period of time before deciding Cubase was best for his needs. I'd be extremely surprised if he's ever spent more than 5 minutes looking at any of the alternatives to Cubase. Why would he, he's got shit to be getting on with?

I wouldn't be surprised that if Mr. Zimmer needs a certain feature inside of Cubase he just calls the guys at Steinberg and there's big chance they'll implement it for him.

I can’t think of anything else I’d want to put in that space. And, yes, there are a ton of soft synths on that computer, too.

Not just any user though. If they could get him to promote the new features he asked them to add, they would likely sell many more copies of it.

I have the opposite problem. I cant get my original hardware synth (juno 6) to sound like the emulation software.

Of course, the hardware stuff was all done more than 30 years ago but I did get a lot of (paid for) help from professionals. OTOH, the software stuff is much more recent but all the production work was done by me, so it kind of evens out.

Strangely, I was never able to memorize any of Zimmer's music. It's like there's no meaning. I think he wants it that way.
Even Carpenter nailed a few tracks which stick, though vaguely.
But I've decided to create a new style - I will use vacuum cleaners and kitchen appliances. I will pay a lot to play video on all major networks, internet etc.
There will be blood and nudity.
