Updated for Push, Move, and Note (the ecosystem)
Auto Filter is available on Move and Note for the first time (and updated for Push with the new UI).

Expressive 16 Pitches lets you play Drum Rack samples melodically in an all-new mode – with Push’s MPE-enabled pads adding extra expression.

Follow Actions support is on Push (finally), across clips and scenes.

Bounce to New Track and the Groove Pool are accessible.

Very nice update!

Nice to render the area to new track!
Still dont understand the word "bounce", that is just rendering the file isn't it? Where the word comes from?

I Hope they did fix in this version the bug introduced in the last 12.1.10 update.
I was not able to use some mapping M4L devices without constant crashes, and I did downgrade to 12.1.5.
I hope they fixed it because the new features are great.

Post

Great updates! Especially Bounce to new track and new Auto Filter.

Its fairly common terminology, and its been around for decades, it dates back to the days of tape based recording. Render is newer as a term, probably taken from its use in 3D/CGI processes and video editing.
In ProTools you still 'Bounce to Mix' to output audio files.

Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

beta, just because of the full list

this is really nice @On Windows, you can now enable a hardware-accelerated GPU renderer to significantly improve Live’s UI performance. This option is disabled by default but can be enabled in the Display & Input section of Live's Settings.

Hope Mac is also going to get it.

The term we used back in the day was ping-ponging. We were working on 4-track home cassette recorders, or reel-to-reel if you were fancy, and you'd have three tracks that you'd ping-pong over to the remaining empty one, leaving you three tracks to then record, giving you 6 tracks on a 4-track recorder.
Industry standard in recording studios is “bounce” and goes back to very early multitrack recorders. I don’t know where it originated but it’s what I was taught in the 90s by people much older. Pretty sure it’s what is in protocols and obviously in logic the big B button for bouncing a track. But generally it started when people were combining tracks back to the same tape machine. As anyone who’s used a 4 track has done. It’s an old technique for getting more tracks out of a recorder that only has 4 or 8 or whatever tracks.

I don’t know what’s going on at Ableton lately but they need to pass on some of that mojo to some of these other DAW makers.
