A little fun is OK. I never said anything wrong with that. Just be careful.
And I NEVER post in a thread unless I've read the ENTIRE thing. This one is no different. And it really wasn't too funny, especially at first.

Ron,
You are still missing my first and only point. The first joke wasn't really all that funny, but that wasn't the point. I took exception to your use of the word "gay" instead of the word "stupid". All my subsequent posts relate to that point alone, or in response to your... er... responses!
Parts of the thread ARE funny... when you swapped out the 'offending' words, I got a chuckle out of it. I don't think you're a bad guy in general, but I think you are severely lacking in communication skills, and that's why virtually every time I see your name on a post lately, I cringe.

Cool, well good luck with all that. But be aware that being a communications major doesn't make you a good communicator.
If you're hinting that you've adopted a "troll" personality as part of some sort of thesis or project, then congrats-- you've succeeded in fooling us all. <chuckle> If not, I maintain that it's time to reconsider your approach to communication.

So you admit you're a troll. I just wish you wouldn't claim to be doing it on purpose, because to me, that's worse. At least tell us that you didn't know any better. And if you're going to do that, I wouldn't link to your web site if I were you. I'd create an alternate identity or you may not get much business. Really.

Again, you make up things. I wish people would just get along and love each otherkoolkeys wrote:So you admit you're a troll. Sometimes trolls feel that they serve a community purpose, by shaking things up, stirring up discussion, playing the DevilsAdvocate, by being the CourtJesters, but they really aren't. They are a perversion of all those purposes. Nonetheless, you are never going to get rid of them. Wherever there's a crowd there's an attention seeker. It's human nature. Naturally, the best way to get rid of them is to stop paying attention.
