Thanks for explaining.Urs wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 6:00 pmThis is a feature. It shows you the sizes that fit your screen, and it greys out the ones that exceed the size of your screen.e-musician wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 2:56 pm Thanks for the update! And thanks to Viktor for refurbishing the factory library!![]()
What I have noticed: I cannot scale the GUI to 160% anymore.
150% seems to be the maximum, the other sizes are greyed out.
So far, I have been able to choose all the sizes up to 200%.
Why's that? Can I change this behaviour so I can select 160% again?

Thanks for updating this, appreciate it!
I've kind of overlooked TyrellN6, as I went right ahead with Diva as my first u-he synth (no regrets here!). But now going through the presets - it really does sound great, especially Factory Library 3 (thanks Victor!). With external FX, it really is a Diva lite. Impressive how much variety of sound is possible with such a simple synth. A great starter VA synth actually.
The UI is really in need of a future update (or skins), it didn't age nearly as well as the synth behind it. For me personally, having MPE or at least pitch +- 48 would be really useful. But Zebra 3 first

Confirmed!tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 6:58 am To make the default GUI size stick, you need to set it in the preferences, NOT in the right-click menu.
As mentioned, we didn't have time to add our modern cogwheel section (MIDI learn, MIDI table, preferences). But we added a makeshift preferences section. Just click the cogwheel next to the Ctrl A/B section at the bottom right corner to reach it.
Yes, this did fix the issue I described about the default scaling setting, not previously recalling correctly. Now it does, once it has been set via the method you described above.

I'm still confused. It says they didn't have time to add it to the cog wheel preferences, and then says to cilck the cogwheel to reach the setting. Are there two cogwheels? I only saw one.MrJubbly wrote: Sun Mar 16, 2025 9:11 amConfirmed!tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 6:58 am To make the default GUI size stick, you need to set it in the preferences, NOT in the right-click menu.

Edit: Oh wait, the settings section is scrollable! I missed the default size setting. Working now, thanks!

By the way I don't really see Tyrell like a Diva light at all. The oscillators sound much different to me. Sort of warmer/softer, remind me of maybe a JX-30 or something. And the mixer with the 2 oscs, sub, ring, noise and feedback, is quite versatile. I'm sure higher quality filters would be cool, but I hope it doesn't lose it's own osc character!

The preferences are there but not the MIDI Learn and MIDI Table. It's got an older MIDI Learn implementation versus what you typically find in modern U-he synths.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun Mar 16, 2025 9:11 pm

We are first and foremost happy to bring Tyrell N6 back "as is", we do not add new sound design features at this point.

Danke.
It's great that you've taken the Tyrell N6 back into your own hands. One of the best free synths out there. One improvement is needed: When I select two presets that aren't next to each other in the preset browser to move them to a different sound category, only one is accepted. If there are multiple presets directly next to each other, they can be selected and moved together. If possible, please change this. Thanks.

This works well here, are you sure you're pressing the correct key for this operation?mpaech wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 12:30 pm When I select two presets that aren't next to each other in the preset browser to move them to a different sound category, only one is accepted.
From our user guides:
"A block of adjacent presets can be selected via shift+click, and presets added to the selection via
cmd-click (macOS) or alt+click (Windows)."

Viktor, danke!!! Die alt+click Funktion ist für mich die Lösung. Üblich ist die Strgtaste in anderen Programmen.
Aber man gewöhnt sich daran.
Viktor, thanks!!! The alt+click function is the solution for me. The Strg-key is more common in other programs.
But you get used to it.
