Hello, apologies if I'm not using the right terms for this, I'm still new to this.
Recently, I bought the AGVC, which I am using with Reaper on Windows 11 with a Focusrite ASIO audio device. Whenever I try to render out an audio file, the AGVC will have a noise spike right at the start which causes Reaper's Automute feature to kick in since its above +18db. The more instances of the guitar I'm using, the louder the sound. When I unmute any of the tracks that are using the AGVC, the noise sounds like a loud slam or a mic/guitar being dropped on the floor while still hooked up to an amp.
What's interesting is that this isn't all of the AGVC tracks. I often use the "Imperious" preset as a way to test what I'm writing, where it often shows up, though I wouldn't be surprised if the other instances are also doing this. I also have the AMR bass set up on most of those projects, which does not have this problem.
I had to swap audio devices to my computer's internal one temporarily before swapping back yesterday, but the problem didn't arise until today - even when I rendered out another project. I have no clue what is happening. The "Imperious" preset seems to be a recurring theme, but I've used it in other projects (including the one I rendered out yesterday) without a problem, it just looks like it spontaneously happened today.
If it helps, I am using the VSTi versions of all of the plugins. Any help would be appreciated.
Noise Spike when rendering in Reaper with AGVC

Please set buffer size to at least 512, and sample rate to 44.1khz to see if the problem disappears.PLH2022 wrote: Sun Mar 16, 2025 6:01 pm Hello, apologies if I'm not using the right terms for this, I'm still new to this.
