Ableton told me, that they can't fix it, so it's up to the Plugin developers:
Ableton has to do its jobs and deliver a flawless DAW, the plugin developers cannot be blamed for this. Since Live 11 things are getting worse. I had written a Live 11 bug report in July 2023, I got an email in February 2025, that it is now fixed in Live 12. Wtf Ableton.

But besides that, I can't confirm the loading times bug in Ableton Live on macOS. Everything is fine. If I were a Windows user, I'd probably switch to Bitwig. Although it's not perfect either.

/offtopic

Other companies like Minimal Audio, and even Parawave (where some KVRmembers are thinking that rapid is dead, because the dev has shorten his communication in this forum) have fixed this issue.
I know its not good for Ableton, ignoring such a core functionality to make a fluent VST3 interface, I prefer Ableton over Bitwig and all other DAW.
Since there are hundreds of nice VST3 Plugins working correctly it makes it much easier for me to skip these plugins that are not working fluent in Ableton. I also ordered minimal Audio current one year for half price later, when they sorted out this VST3 loading issue. So its up to Korg, I can wait….

I understand your position.
It really shouldn't be the plugin developer who needs to find solutions for faults in a DAW.. I firmly believe that.
I imagine Parawave and Minimal probably found a work around for the deficiency in Live.
Ableton really needs to fix their sh*†.

But yeah I understand your position.. But surely don't pressure or try to pressure Korg into 'fixing it' for Ableton.

This thing sounds wonderful. A very strong contender for the best overall analog modelling synth currently available.

Way easier to use and more flexible than Diva (even with the Mona theme extension from Plugmon). The filter modelling is extremely good, easily on a par with all the Uhe synths or anything else out there. The audio rate modulation is sublime. The modulation options are deep. The oscillators sound beautifully deep and clear. Just an excellently implemented synth from top to bottom.

I'm a little bit blown away that so many of the comments are little niggles about this and that rather than pointing out this is the next generation of modelling synths and it sounds absolutely superb?! Have most people not got as far as loading up an init patch and exploring the basics?!!!

For my tastes, the presets are mostly over produced cheese and actually obscure the underlying quality of the synth engine. This is the next generation.

We reported this issue to Ableton some time ago, and have not received any suggestions from them on what might be changed. In general, it would appear that we simply have more parameters than they are expecting to see in a plug-in; as others have noted, our synths are very deep. Thankfully, with some help from users on another forum, we’ve discovered a very easy workaround which seems to work perfectly. See this FAQ entry for full details:

I already made my own default configuration manually but it didn't affect the slow down. I didn't use all 128 params though so could that be the issue?

EDIT yes I maxed it out now and it gets much faster if all slots are filled

Happy to share my default config if there is a way to export them?

Does anyone know will Korg be releasing an NKS update for this?

If it had a full blown MIDI Learn implementation, I'd have bought it. I'm one of those weirdos that cares about such things, even if the plugin has more parameters than I can map.

They haven’t for any of their plugins other than Gadget but some of us in the NI community have banded together to create NKS for this and all the Korg synths

thanks, its working !!!
you can also map first your favorit parameters like 4 macros, Kaos pad and Cutoff Freq and than switch a preset in mapping mode, than you have on push your favorite macros at first

Heya, I tried to see earlier in this thread if it was possible to set Init as the default preset upon opening a new instance of Multi/Poly Native in Live 12. Unfortunately all the suggestions from other forum members were sound, none worked. Is there a hidden function somewhere to achieve this? It's kinda driving me nuts to hear Rush every time I start the synth, then having to menu dive every time to initialize so i can work on new sounds lol. Cheers!

Do you plan to implement multithreading in future versions?
Many users are experiencing crackling and ASIO buffer overloads.
A degrade in 1.0.2 caused overloads; 1.0.3 fixes the problem. Please update to 1.0.3, and let me know if you still see any issues.
I understand that.
What I had in mind is multithreading like Diva does it, or even better.
4 layer synth without multithreading is like a racing car without gasoline. :D

If multithreading support, then please optional just like in Diva.

Sync seems a little broken with the waveshapers. If I create 2 identical waveshaper oscillators and chose the sine shaper, with 0 gain and offset and 50% pulse width and turn on sync, there's this fuzzy/crackly noise when most notes are played. Some notes do not have this and it's louder with some than others (but these change per octave). This goes away if I set scale all and osc drift to 0. It's quite a bit less obvious in mono mode but it also goes away completely when you turn off voice variation. It's also important to turn off the filters as these can mask it. I feel like this is likely a bug.
