How's the ARA support in Cubase 3.70?

So? Have fun with Cubase VST 3.7. Personally I'd rather update to VST5 but either way, the rest of us will get on just fine with Cubase 14 Pro that works like a charm with todays updated systems..

eLawnMust wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 12:19 pm What the hell is all the 'Gush' about? Maybe some features are cool but not at the expense of such stringent system requires... 8 GB RAM Minimum?!... for what, heating your home? This is 250 times the requires for Cubase VST24 back in 1999 where the minimum was 32 MB RAM...

Cubase ain't got better it's just taking advantage of more powerful machines in a bad way... Cubase 14 if presented back in 1999 would be worthless because nobody could run it unless they waited 25 years...

We aren't even talking the other requires like machine speed, graphics drivers, etc...

Reaper is proof that modern DAW can be fulla features yet still tight....

Are you trolling or... ?
i dont think he is :scared:
hes always pushing for 20 odd year old trackers being better than current, well anything tbh.

I mean... he can obviously use whatever he wants, but this sort of rant is beyond bizarre. I'd actually prefer if he was just trolling. :scared:

Since we're already talking about Cubase Pro 14, I thought I’d drop a quick note—Walter Hunnicutt is back with an all-new tutorial! SWA Complete Cubase Pro 14 dives deep into the latest features, workflow enhancements, and powerful tools to help you get the most out of the DAW.

We’re offering a special pre-order price of $39.95 (regular $49.95) until April 2, 2025. The tutorial releases on the same day!

If you're looking for an in-depth guide to mastering Cubase Pro 14, check it out here: https://streamworksaudio.com/tutorial/s ... se-pro-14/

Hope this helps some of you diving into the new version!

If that were my name I would feel legally obligated to wear an ascot and smoke a pipe.

The man, the myth, the legend!

Walter is one of our more popular instructors. He is our Steinberg Guru :tu:

We have done a ton of videos for Steinberg in the past. Some of the past versions of Cubase came with our tutorials, in which Walter worked on. :)

Cheers!

Yeah... but honestly it's nothing... no bug fixes or something like that... just two midi scripts....

The 13.0.55 revision adds nothing interesting, but oddly enough the previous 13.0.51 revision installed the Steinberg built-in ASIO driver which I never had before. Not to be confused with the old crappy Generic Low Latency ASIO driver.

It performs so much better than the ASIO4All driver I had been using before.

Yeah, that's true.

The ability to map controller lanes in the drum track to aspects of the drum machine is awesome. I do feel that the 'range' of parameters should not just refer to when random dice is pressed but what values u can enter.

Post

does the new drum machine respond to note expression cause for some reason cant get that to work?
