The noise is added to the output of the delay line. A non-zero feedback will naturally also increase the noise level, because the feedback signal includes the noise. That being said, I will consider lowering the overall level to be less distracting. I generally avoid advanced tuning parameters like this and instead try to find sane defaults that make users happy 99% of the time. Thanks for the suggestion though!brok landers wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 1:44 am Quick add on - feature request:
next to your reverb and the string ensemble chorus i absolute love your delay. However - i especially love it in tape mode - but the added "analog noise" is persistent, no matter what - it's always there, even if the delay doesn't work at that time. Could you maybe add a knob to be able to disable it? or maybe put it in the feedback path, so that it can decay away with the feedback?
Would that be doable?

I can't reproduce it unfortunately, both VST3 and CLAP loading fine. Search results for the mentioned error only reveal vague explanations and suggestions, e.g. related to antivirus SW. Not sure how I can help here ATM.brok landers wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 1:34 am Hi Karrikuh,
just wanted to let you know that all the latest clap versions of the bk fx (v09) crash studio one v 7.1.1 (win 10 pro) with the following error code:

Maybe it's on the presonus side - but i thought i'd give you the heads up anyway.

as the older "Ensemble Fx" (vst2 only) was incorporated into the "Chorus" plugin (vst3 only) and i slowly but surely want to get rid of vst2 plugins wherever substitutable with vst3, i pulled up some presets where i used the old "Ensemble Fx" (vst2).
I was swapping it out with the new "chorus", using the Ensemble algorithm.
But somehow the old "Ensemble" plugin (vst2) sounds much nicer than the new one in the "Chorus" vst3 plugin - mostly because the old one was thicker due to the fact it doesn't cut the bass, as the Ensemble algorithm in the "Chorus" plugin seems to do. I use them both fully wet (as supposed to) and i matched the rates as well as the depths as close as i could. But the missing bass in the new "Chorus" plugin i couldn't remedy.
Is there something i do wrong?
If not, could you maybe also provide the original algorithm as is in the new "Chorus" plugin?
As i told you, i absolutely adore your Ensemble algorithm in the vst2 version. I have quite some ensemble/stringmachine chorusses - but this one sounds best by far and closest to my solina to my ears.
What do you say? Is there a chance?

I have a problem with the GUI for these plugins. As you can see the controls for the plugins are gone. Any idea what causes this?

I never tried them because of same issue in same DAW no matter which version I tried (newer/updated).Nug Wrangler wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 4:42 pm I have a problem with the GUI for these plugins. As you can see the controls for the plugins are gone. Any idea what causes this?

Plugins without GUI are opened in FL in "native/basic" FL GUI. Just knobs. But this one? Nothing.
