Waveform 13 Pro - Clip Launcer - Views/Windows

I am not well versed in using a clip launcher in general. I am trying to integrate into my workflow.
Anyway, I am playing around with dual display views, undocking the clip launcher and arranger views to use them together in different ways.
When I undock the clip viewer and arranger, the plugins won't show above them. Is it just accepted that plugins don't display above undocked arranger or clip launcher windows? (not sarcastic)
When undocking, they seem to be very limited in functionality. Same with viewing the browser, which is awkward.
Can anyone speak to successfully using custom layouts on dual monitors and any of the issue above?
