Misinformed
It’s a simple serial just like version one…solvni_music wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 6:05 am do it have the same license protection ? (limited amount of activation)
I remember being stuck because of HD failure , the plugin asked to contact support for additional activation.multree wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 7:54 pmIt’s a simple serial just like version one…solvni_music wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 6:05 am do it have the same license protection ? Actually, it's lucky I watched a few more YT vids._al_ wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:33 amThanks for answering!Flogs wrote: Thu Apr 10, 2025 11:39 am The Hi Preserve/Lo Preserve functions are set individually and are global.
I guess Per Node would be a bit ott.
I could see this function taking over some compressor duties.
Just depends on the CPU I guess.
I really don't wanna DL the demo though, coz I shouldn't need this
Guess I should be happy it's not "per node"
Upgrade at $29 sure is tempting though.
Hi / Lo pass are not regular highpass lowpass filters._al_ wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 4:19 pmActually, it's lucky I watched a few more YT vids._al_ wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:33 amThanks for answering!Flogs wrote: Thu Apr 10, 2025 11:39 am The Hi Preserve/Lo Preserve functions are set individually and are global.

I thought the Hi / Lo Preserve was functioning on DB (working on just low or high volume sections), but I've seen it's actually just highpass / lowpass filter.![]()
So I think that's a hard pass from me
I have an issue where instances of the plugin will not pass audio when opening a session that has instances of Smooth Operator Pro on tracks.BABY Audio wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 4:50 pmHi / Lo pass are not regular highpass lowpass filters._al_ wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 4:19 pmActually, it's lucky I watched a few more YT vids._al_ wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:33 amThanks for answering!Flogs wrote: Thu Apr 10, 2025 11:39 am The Hi Preserve/Lo Preserve functions are set individually and are global.

Instead they filter the internal detection / area where the plugin will work. It means that when you apply them, the plugin will not process the parts that are filtered out but the sound will still pass through un-processed in these areas.
So let's say you set low preserve at 250hz. It's not like you're filtering your in or out signal at 250 hz. The effect you'll be getting is instead that the plugin's processing will start at 250hz and anything below that will pass through unaffected.
Sounds like one of the videos might have gotten this fact wrong which is why we wanted to clarify here![]()
Ah yeah, I knew it was just the internal filtering for the detector. Very handy function to have (I mostly use it in Melda plugins).BABY Audio wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 4:50 pm
