MMC to Transport No Longer Working

Today I noticed that the transport buttons on my Akai MPK261 which are set to send MMC are no longer working to control Waveform's transport. Apparently I do have it set correctly and it's the same result no matter which one I select in that list:

Using the same preset on my Akai the buttons do work to control the transport in FL Studio so it appears to be an issue with Waveform 13 Pro.

I'm using the latest official version of WF on Windows 11.

Reporting issues here seems to be a hit and miss thing and I'm not sure if contacting support would yield any better results.

I just submitted a support request so we'll see how it goes.....

Out of curiosity - how long have you had your MPK261? In general I like it, but find a few keys near the bottom don't respond to velocity "normally" but tend to have velocity at >100 even on a light touch. Fortunately it's a B and the D#, so not so bad. Patches with piano are where it annoys the most. Have that issue, and have you tried a dismantling to fix if so?

I've had my MPK216 for about ten or fifteen years. No I've never had that issue and I pound on the keys pretty hard and fast.

It's been built like a tank so far.

Still no response from Tracktion support. I love Waveform but I often get the feeling that it's someone's weekend project rather than something that has continued focus from a dedicated development team.

Software as complex as a DAW requires constant attention.

I don't mind reporting bugs and issues but if there is no interaction from the developers it becomes a lesson in abject futility.

Yesterday MMC to Waveform Transport buttons started working again out of the blue. I don't know why as I had not changed anything since they were last not working.

So this appears to be a bug in Waveform Pro 13 but with no response to my support ticket or here in this thread I'm losing faith a fix is forthcoming.
